Founded in 1979, Central Alabama Pride, Incorporated applied for recognition as a non-profit organization in October, 2000. The organization completed the review period in April, 2007 and received the official designation, under section IRC 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. Our Mission

The specific objectives and purposes of Central Alabama Pride, Inc. shall be to promote pride within and understanding between gay, lesbian, bisexual and Transgender communities and all other communities in central Alabama through education, public forums and organized social and recreational activities.

Charitable Contributions

Central Alabama Pride, Inc. is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable entity under IRC Section 501(c)(3).
